Order by August 6th, 2024 for your items to be guaranteed to arrive in your dorm before you move-in. If you order after August 6th, your item will be delivered in late August to early September.

LAUNDRY PLAN LOGISTICS

After purchasing your plan, we will arrange a time for you to come into our store (69 Mt Auburn St). There, we can register you for the necessary platforms and give you your laundry bag(s).

The laundry plan is designed to be both straightforward and efficient. With the help of our proprietary bag-tracking software, Knack, you will have your laundry washed, dried, and folded at your door the next day. The steps are as follows:
- First, request a pickup on the Knack web portal and leave your bag outside of your dorm room door before 8AM on the day of pickup (note that each region has a different pick-up date). Your bag status will display “Pick Up Requested.”
- A Cleaners & Dorm Essentials Delivery Associate will pick up your bag from your door and bring it to our store. Your bag status will then display "Picked up," and you will receive an email notifying you that your bag was picked up.
- Your bag will be sent out to our laundry vendor, who will wash, dry, and fold your laundry. Throughout this process, your bag status will display "Washing."
- Your washed, dried, and folded clothes will be dropped off at our storefront by 3PM the following day. Your bag status will display “In Store Clean.”
- A Cleaners & Dorm Essentials Delivery Associate will deliver the laundry back to your door that evening. Your bag status will display “Delivered,” and you will received an email that your bag was delivered.
- Enjoy your wash, dried, and neatly folded clothes!
- After a week, you can re-request your laundry to be picked up.

Every laundry plan comes with log-in credentials to Cleaners & Dorm Essentials's Knack software. Through this online platform, customers can request laundry pick-ups, track their clothes throughout the laundering process, and see when their clothes are returned to their door.
This platform can be accessed through the online portal linked here.
After you purchase a laundry plan, a Cleaners & Dorm Essentials Manager will be in touch to set up your Knack account. Please make sure to order your laundry plan by Tuesday, September 1st to ensure you’ll be onboarded.
WATER PLAN LOGISTICS

Cleaners & Dorm Essentials partners with a water supplier to provide students with a dorm-room supply of filtered water. Each Water Delivery Plan includes a free standing cooler with hot and cold water capabilities, which we deliver to your dorm room at the beginning of the year. We then deliver 5 gallon water jugs to your dorm each month throughout the academic year and pick up your empty water jugs.
During the last week of August, the Cleaners & Dorm Essentials team will deliver and install the water cooler rental in your dorm room. You will also receive one or more 5 gallon water jugs for the cooler depending on which plan you purchased.
The Cleaners & Dorm Essentials team will stay in contact with water customers throughout the year, as delivery dates may be affected by inclement weather or supply issues.

MicroFridge rentals are super easy. Once you place your order all you have to do is enjoy the 3 in 1 unit. It will be delivered directly to your room and picked up after you leave.
Throughout the school year, MicroFridges come with a full maintenance service by the Cleaners & Dorm Essentials team. At the end of the school year, our team will handle the move out and storage of the MicroFridge unit.

We will deliver the MicroFridge to your room in late January.
